LD System - the exciting new way to learn to drive
Let me introduce the unique Learner Driving tuition system (LD System), a system that has been designed for maximum progress and ease of learning.
It is a system where each driving lesson is carefully planned and follows a set programme with clearly defined objectives or ‘targets’ as we prefer to call them, where the instructors use professional training materials and modern training methods to ensure your training is both effective and enjoyable.
Using the training materials available the idea is that before each lesson you read the relevant section in the Driving Skills Workbook and/or watch the same relevant section in the Driving Skills DVD. so that you then already have a clear idea of what you need to know prior to your actual driving lesson. Then, once you go on your lesson, provided you have done your "homework", your instructor will need to spend less time explaining and more time actually practising. At the end of each lesson you and your instructor can then go through the objectives/targets you are aiming for and assess the level you have achieved.
Driving Lesson Programme:
Part 1 Driving Lessons - Basic control skills
This part will give you the basic control skills needed to drive safely. This is the starting point for most people and essential if you have no previous driving experience

Part 2 Driving Lessons - Road skills
This part will give you the driving skills that you will need in order to cope with modern road systems

Part 3 Driving Lessons - Traffic Skills
This part teaches you how to use your basic control and road skills to deal with a wide range of traffic conditions and situations.

Set Manoeuvres
The set manoeuvres can start to be introduced at any point after Lesson 4

The workbook and videos can also be used by anyone who may be providing you with supplementary practice to ensure that any additional practice is totally complementary and not counter productive to your learning.
